Donald Trump Twitter: Who Does President Follow On Social Media Platform Amid Rumors Of Him Unfollowing Kellyanne Conway

Reports that President Donald Trump had unfollowed his controversy-ridden counselor Kellyanne Conway on Twitter, which emerged Tuesday, were quickly debunked as it was discovered the president did not follow Conway to begin with.

However, the rumors may have led to another development. Trump now follows Conway through both his Twitter handles — the personal @realDonaldTrump and the official @POTUS.

Trump has almost 25 million followers on his personal Twitter account and another 15.4 million on the POTUS handle, which is handled for the president by director of social media at the White House, Dan Scavino Jr. In return, Trump only follows 43 and 8 people respectively from both those handles.

But who are these people that the president of the United States follows?

Trump has always given a great amount of importance to his family and that is evident even through the people he follows on Twitter. From @realDonaldTrump, the president follows his wife Melania Trump, children — Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, Ivanka Trump and Tiffany Ariana Trump — and daughters-in-law Vanessa Trump and Lara Trump. However, White House adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner is missing from the list.

Trump has maintained that he has distanced himself from his business ventures but continues to follow them on Twitter. Other than the Trump Organization and Trump Golf, the @realDonaldTrump account also follows Trump Waikiki, Trump National Doral, Trump Charlotte, Trump Vegas Hotel, Trump Hotel Chicago, Trump Washington D.C. and Trump Los Angeles.

With the recent addition of Conway and White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, Trump follows Vice President Mike Pence, social media manager Scavino, former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and former campaign spokesperson Katrina Pierson, along with his personal attorney Michael Cohen.

A significant chunk of people who Trump is following are media personalities who align themselves with his views. MSNBC TV hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough, Fox hosts Bill O’Reilly, Greta Van Susteren and Sean Hannity are followed by the president. The president also follows Fox Nation and FOX & Friends. From his “The Apprentice” days, Trump also follows Piers Morgan and Mark Burnett.

The @POTUS handle only follows eight accounts — the vice president, his wife, @FLOTUS, Conway, Priebus, Scavino, Press Secretary Sean Spicer and The White House.
