‘Don’t Be Tardy’ Star Kim Zolciak-Biermann Opens Up About Daughter Brielle’s Lip Injections, Says They’re Not Done With Procedure
Kim Zolciak doesn’t care that people are bothered by her daughter Brielle Biermann, 19, getting lip injections. The “Don’t Be Tardy” star opened up about her daughter’s fuller pout, explaining why she doesn’t have an issue with Brielle getting the cosmetic procedure done.
During an appearance Wednesday on Andy Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Live,” the host said the number one question fans wanted to ask the former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star was why she and her daughter keep getting lip injections. “First of all, she’s almost 20,” Kim said. “So talk to her. And then, why not? Shoot it up!”
When Cohen asked whether Kim and Brielle were done getting their lips plumped, they both responded that you’re never done with it because the injections only last a few months. “They last like three months or something like that,” Brielle said, adding that they get them done again whenever they travel to Los Angeles.
“I’ve heard her complain about her lips since she came out of the womb, honestly,” Kim added. “I was like, ‘I’m going to take you to the best.’”
According to E! Online, Brielle first got her lip injections last November from the same doctor who did Kylie Jenner’s lips. Brielle, 18 at the time, documented the procedure on Instagram sharing a video of the doctor poking her lips with needles. Throughout the short video, Brielle’s lips get noticeably bigger as the doctor works on them. “Thank you thank you thank you!!! To my favorite, @SimonOurianMD1 !!! My lips are my biggest insecurity and I’m so happy w my results now,” she wrote. “You truly are the best! Even though I hate needles you made this very easy! Thank you again.”
Even though Brielle has no problem admitting to getting her lips done, the realty star is adamant she’s never had any plastic surgery. In May she posted an angry Instagram video of her slamming the rumors. “I’m tired of people assuming I’ve had all sorts of plastic surgery from liposuction to a nose job you name it I’ve supposedly had it. I’m 19 years old-y’all have been watching me since I was 10! I look nothing like I did back then,” she said (via Inquisitr). “People grow up. Their face changes their body change they mature inside and out. I’ve been honest about my procedures and plan to be. There’s nothing wrong with fixing something you’re insecure about (my lips) but I don’t believe in plastic surgery just to ‘improve’ yourself!” Brielle later deleted the video.
