Dow falls over 1 percent after Spain downgrade
Stocks added to losses on Friday, pushing the Dow down more than 1 percent, after Fitch downgraded its rating of Spain.
The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> was down 119.94 points, or 1.17 percent, at 10,139.05. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> was down 15.13 points, or 1.37 percent, at 1,087.93. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> was down 32.14 points, or 1.41 percent, at 2,245.54. The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq each fell more than 1 percent earlier in the day.
