Dr. Dre thanked everyone for their love and support after he was rushed to the hospital due to a brain aneurysm that landed him in the intensive care unit.

The music mogul, 55, was reportedly taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles by ambulance Monday after suffering a brain aneurysm, but he was said to be in a stable condition. A People source then claimed that Dre, whose real name is Andre Romelle Young, was “OK” and that he was “lucid.”

On Tuesday night, the rapper took to Instagram to update his fans on how he is doing following his health scare and took the opportunity to say thanks to those who expressed concern.

“Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes. I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team,” Dre wrote alongside a black-and-white picture of him in a recording studio.

“I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!" he continued.

His hospitalization comes around six months after Dre and his estranged wife Nicole Young began their messy divorce battle. They announced that they were ending their 24-year marriage in June.

Young filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences, and it was initially reported that there was no prenup between her and the music mogul. However, Dre later said that they did sign a prenup before tying the knot.

His 51-year-old estranged wife has since challenged this, claiming that she was forced to sign the papers and was made to believe that it was null after her husband allegedly tore up the document.

“I was extremely reluctant, resistant and afraid to sign the agreement and felt backed into a corner. Given the extraordinary pressure and intimidation by Andre, I was left with no option but to hire a lawyer (of course, with the help of Andre's team of professionals) and unwillingly signed the agreement very shortly before our marriage,” Young claimed in legal documents obtained by TMZ last year.

Young and Dre, who share two kids, Truice and Truly, tied the knot in 1996. The prolific music producer has four children from previous relationships.
