‘Dragon Ball Super 2’ Plot Could Focus On Wiping Out All The Gods Including Zeno & New Power Called Godslayer
It has been almost a year since the Tournament of Power in “Dragon Ball Super” ended, which marks the end of the popular anime series. The anime introduced Goku’s new powerful technique that allowed him to overpower his fiercest opponents in the Tournament. It is high time that Toei releases “Dragon Ball Super 2,” and given the theme in the promotional anime as well as in the manga, the team could focus on a plot about new villains rising up to slaughter all the gods including Zeno and a probably a new power--Godslayer.
The long hiatus that followed the successful anime series “Dragon Ball Super” opened up interesting franchise expansions. As fans speculate on the release window of “Dragon Ball Super 2,” most of the discussions include the subject about new elements that must be included in the next anime series iteration. The promotional anime “Dragon Ball Heroes” now introduces a crucial game-changing power called Godslayer, which many fans are hoping to be in the upcoming anime.
The manga meanwhile is on the “Galactic Patrol Prisoner” arc, which centers on Moro, the planet eater, and a new galactic patroller named Merus. Moro is an ancient villain that the Kais locked away and has gotten out of prison to exact revenge. The signs are pretty obvious, and the entire premise of both promotional anime and manga is about Goku, Vegeta, and others getting into a whole new level of godly power that has attracted the attention not only of the gods but also of other divine powerful beings in the multiverse.
It appears inevitable that “Dragon Ball Super 2,” whether based on the promotional anime, on manga, or on entirely something else, will have to bring a plot that will put the gods of destruction and even Zeno being threatened by divine villains. This will force Son Goku and Vegeta to level up not only as Saiyan Warriors and Universe 7 protectors but also divine protectors. There is also a possibility that Moro becomes a god himself, or Merus turns against the gods, making the new divine power called Godslayer the only hope left for Vegeta and Son Goku.
The question is, will “Dragon Ball Super 2” let us see Son Goku perfecting the Ultra Instinct Omen? If Godslayer will be in the next anime series, will it be another Goku-exclusive power, or will Vegeta get the chance to possess it too?
