Is Drake Dating Singer Sade? Instagram Posts Fuel Romance Rumors

Is Drake dating Sade? This is the question that’s been bothering fans since early this week. And while both the Canadian rapper and the Nigerian-born English singer-songwriter have not addressed this, the dating rumors continue to swirl after the “Hotline Bling” hitmaker posted photos of him and the former lead singer of Sade (the band) on Instagram.

After breaking up with Jennifer Lopez, Drake seems to have rebounded with Sade (real name Helen Folasade Adu). The 30-year-old rapper is being linked to Sade after they were spotted hanging out together following Drake’s London show at The O2 Arena in southeast London early this week, according to NY Daily News.

After the sighting, a source revealed to Celebrity Insider that Drake has always been a huge fan of the 58-year-old singer. “He doesn’t like her, he adores her. He thinks she’s a legend,” the source said after revealing that Drake has fond memories of listening to Sade’s music growing up.

MediaTakeOut was the first to break the news that Drake and Sade could be dating each other. The notorious tabloid claimed that the two artists are a thing after Drake himself uploaded a photo of him, Sade and his mother on Monday. It didn’t help that Drake followed it up a day later by posting a snap of just him and Sade embracing each other.

Drake also recently got a tattoo of Sade’s face on his left rib. While the rapper did not show off the new ink publicly, the Swedish tattoo artist who did the art confirmed this on Instagram.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Drake and Sade are close, however, since the two were previously planning on releasing music together back in 2011. Unfortunately, the collaboration did not see the light of the day after Sade opted to work with Jay Z instead, as per Rap-Up.
