Drake-Serena Williams Dating Rumors: Kim Kardashian Gives Tennis Player Tips ‘To Win’ Canadian Rapper’s Heart
Kim Kardashian has given her friend Serena Williams advice on how to win over Drake’s heart, according to Hollywood Life. The tennis player and the Canadian rapper sparked dating rumors last month after they were photographed locking lips at a restaurant in Cincinnati, Ohio.
“Kim and Serena have known each other for a while and they decided to reconnect while in NYC. Kim has gotten to know Drake well through Kanye,” a source told Hollywood Life. “She knows what a player he is and has a good idea of what it will take to win his heart. Kim also has a pretty good idea on how to snag a huge rap star since she did it herself. Kim did it by playing hard to get.”
The pregnant Kardashian shared a photo Monday of her enjoying tea with Williams ahead of the player’s face-off with her sister Venus at the US Open Tuesday.
Kardashian and her sister Kendall Jenner was present during Williams’ match on Tuesday where she defeated Venus to qualify for the semi-finals.
Kardashian told Williams to take it easy with Drake, who has had a long-time crush on the 33-year-old.
“Kanye and Drake are used to women throwing themselves at them,” the source reportedly said. “The best way to get them to chase you is to reject them and play hard to get at first. If Drake is serious, he will make Serena a priority. If he doesn’t, he’s not worth Serena’s time.”
Earlier, Williams’ family warned her to stay away from Drake as they feared he would leave her with “a broken heart,” according to media reports.
However, the Wimbledon winner’s friends reportedly approve of the way the “Back To Back” rapper treats her. A source told E! News that their relationship is “heating up,” but they’re trying to keep it as private as possible.
“Drake has always had a huge crush on Serena, so he is on cloud nine and will continue to court her as much as he can,” the source reportedly said. “Drake is very much Serena’s type as well. She is a big fan of him and his music.”
