Draya Michele-Jameis Winston Cheating Rumors: Orlando Scandrick Issues New Statement
Rumors swirled that “Basketball Wives LA” star Draya Michele had cheated on her fiancé, Dallas Cowboys star Orlando Scandrick, after he issued a harsh statement to TMZ, which said their engagement and relationship was over. Originally, he said the proposal was a “bad decision,” but on Thursday he told TMZ the first statement he made was imprudent.
Even though they’re not together anymore, he still has feelings for the reality star. "I want to apologize for my original statement. I let my emotions fly impulsively. Draya is a great mother, works hard and I wish her nothing but the best. I still love her,” he told the publication.
Next, the NFL player also addressed the cheating allegations, which claimed she had a fling with former Florida State Seminoles star Jameis Winston, and the rumor that Michele bought her engagement and forced him to get down on one knee. "I purchased the ring. I proposed. There was no cheating involved, we just couldn't make it work,” he said.
If cheating wasn’t the reason why the couple split, fans are currently clueless as to why the celebrity duo went their separate ways. Infidelity seemed like a probable reason, especially since one day Michele said they were practically married already and then a week later they weren’t even an item.
Despite Scandrick’s new assertion, gossip continues to swirl. One of the leading tales out of the rumor mill claims Scandrick discovered nude pictures of Winston, who was drafted to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, on Michele’s phone.
The reality star hasn’t said anything about Winston or Scandrick, but she did send a message to her 3.7 million Instagram followers. She told them to say strong through tough times. “Sending love out there to all the girls out there trying to love themselves in a world that’s constantly telling them not to,” she posted. Her fans supported the post, which garnered nearly 65,000 likes and more than 1,500 comments.
