Dua Lipa feels that the coronavirus outbreak is allowing people to connect with each other on a “different level” which is much different than what everyone sees in this age of social media. The singer made her statement while people are trying a lot of creative ways to stay in touch with their loved ones while staying inside their homes.

A lot of celebrities are coming live on Instagram and holding mini-concerts for their fans. Musicians like Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, Harry Styles, and many others have come forward to sing some of their biggest hits on social media to spread positivity.

In an interview with NPR, the 24-year-old singer revealed that people have been connecting with each other more frequently, and she also hoped that people won’t forget about these simple methods when the pandemic ends. The “IDGAF” hitmaker also noted that she has learned a lot by sitting at home and connecting with her fans via Instagram.

“It is different but it is a fun way to connect with the fans and the audience and I think it is interesting to see how we are when we are out of our comfort zone. You are on your sofa, you are in your living room. You are completely bare-faced and I think it connects with people on a different level because it shows we are all the same and we are all human,” Lipa said.

The “Don’t Start Now” singer further stated that such simple things have a lot of “beauty” in them because making things interesting all the time can be really difficult. She also feels that people should not forget about all the simple things they did during the pandemic to stay in touch with their family and friends and continue to do so once this is over.

“I think even after this pandemic hopefully blows over soon, we'll still be using everything we learned during this time to really connect with people on a different level,” Lipa said.

The acclaimed musician is riding high on the success of her new album “Future Nostalgia.” The album is the second top-rated album of 2020 on review aggregation site Metacritic, with an average score of 9.2 and a total score of 89.

The Guardian described the singer as "a true pop visionary" and awarded four stars to the album.
