'Duck Dynasty' Star Sadie Robertson Recovering From COVID-19 Amid Pregnancy

“Duck Dynasty” star Sadie Robertson has revealed that she was recently hospitalized after testing positive for COVID-19 amid her pregnancy.

The 23-year-old reality TV star, who is currently pregnant with her first child with husband Christian Huff, broke the news to her fans by writing a lengthy message on her official Instagram account. Robertson detailed her experience saying that it was “one of the most challenging things” she had to face in her life until now. She also stated that she got sick and struggled a lot while battling the life-threatening illness.

“Life update: I am not going to lie, this has been one of the most challenging things. I got COVID-19 and ended up getting very sick. I know everyone experiences COVID differently, but wow these symptoms are wild. I’ve definitely struggled through this!” Robertson wrote on the photo-sharing platform.

Later in the post, the reality star assured her followers that “baby Huff” is absolutely fine and she, too, is recovering. Robertson also confirmed that she is already out of the hospital.

“Thankfully baby Huff is doing great and healthy, and I am now healing as well. I am no longer in the hospital (this pic was not from today) and I have just about fully recovered,” the actress said.

While detailing her COVID-19 journey, Robertson admitted that she has “learned a lot” of things about her health along the way.

“I’ve learned a lot and I have been challenged in a lot of new ways. I will say my dependency on Jesus has never felt greater in some of the hardest moments of this sickness. My heart and my family’s heart goes out to everyone suffering from COVID,” Robertson wrote.

The TV star ended her post by noting that her mother, Korie Robertson, and younger sister, Bella Robertson, also tested positive for coronavirus. The trio will be talking about their diagnosis in the upcoming episode of the “WHOA That’s Good” podcast later this week.

“Going to be chatting with my mom and Bella who also had covid on this Wednesday’s podcast,” the actress concluded her post.

Her fans immediately flooded the post with “get well soon” messages and prayers for her fast recovery.

“Oh my goodness!! I am so glad you all are ok. God is good,” one user commented.

“Wishing you a speedy recovery,” another user wrote.

“Sending prayers Sadie. Praising God you and baby are doing well and you are recovering. It’s a scary virus but I know God works miracles ” another netizen stated.

The couple announced on Oct. 4 that they are expecting their first child together.
