Duggar Family Friends Hint Joseph And Kendra’s Wedding Date Coming Soon

Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell’s wedding registry states they’ll tie the knot on Oct. 7 but it appears the “Counting On” couple may be getting married sooner than originally anticipated.

The Duggar Family Blog, which is run by friends of the Arkansas brood, have hinted that Kendra and Joe could become husband and wife before this fall.

In a recent post, the bloggers noted that Joseph and Kendra celebrated their joint bachelor/bachelorette party on July 28, and that in typical Duggar fashion, couples host their pre-wedding celebration just weeks before their big day.

“When Joy-Anna Duggar married Austin Forsyth in May, they threw their bachelor/bachelorette party (a co-ed campout) just three weeks before the wedding,” wrote the site.

“Joseph and Kendra have been engaged for nine weeks, and the average Duggar engagement is around 12 weeks, so we have to ask: When do you think Joe and Kendra will wed?”

While the bloggers did not divulge information about Joe and Kendra’s wedding day, fans have go on to suspect the pair will be married in August or September, as opposed to their original Oct. 7 date.

Kendra and Joe revealed their wedding registry and suspected date in July. Their Amazon.com posting states they will be wed in Rogers, Arkansas. Ahead of their big day, the couple asked for dozens of pricey presents from friends, family and fans alike, which upset some “Counting On” viewers.

When Joseph’s sister, Joy Duggar, posted the registry on her Instagram account, fans were none-too-pleased. “So happy for Joe and Kendra!!!” Joy and Austin wrote on their social media page last month. “Married life is Amazing! Check out their wedding registry!”

“Joy and Austin are promoting Joe and Kendra’s wedding registry to fans. This can only be for one reason and one reason only, to solicit gifts from the not invited,” the Duggar Family News page wrote at the time.

While it is unclear when Kendra Caldwell will become Mrs. Duggar, the pair has previously shared their desire for a fall wedding. Following their engagement at Joy and Austin’s wedding reception in May, the bride-to-be and her future husband told People they were starting to discuss wedding planning.

“There were lots of things I was definitely taking tips on at Joy-Anna’s wedding that I thought we might do,” Kendra told the magazine. “We like fall at some point,” Joe added when asked if they had a specific date in mind.

“I’m so happy and so shocked. There’s so many words I want to say, but just shocked. I had absolutely no idea,” Kendra added of the big moment, which was captured by TLC’s cameras for “Counting On.”

“He had the ring in his pocket so when I went to go help myself and grab mints out of his pocket, he grabbed at his pocket and I pulled my hand away. But then I quickly forgot about it,” she continued.

Joseph and Kendra’s courtship and eventual engagement will play a big role in the upcoming season of “Counting On.” The series returns to TLC on Sept. 11.
