Duggar Family Reveals How Jinger Has Changed Since Courting Jeremy Vuolo
Love has changed Jinger Duggar. Tuesday’s “Jill & Jessa: Counting On” Season 2 premiere focused on the sixth eldest Duggar’s new romance with pastor Jeremy Vuolo, and her siblings made sure to discuss how being in a relationship has changed her.
During the first TLC installment, Jana, John-David and Joy-Anna Duggar each remarked how their 22-year-old sister had been altered by love.
Jana, 26, said that Jinger used to always misplace her phone but being in a long-distance relationship with Jeremy has changed that. “She used to be the worst, never cared, she never knew where her phone was,” Jana said. “Now she never loses it.” Joy-Anna, 18, remarked her sibling’s personality has also appeared to change. “She always been super happy and super bubbly but never to this extent,” she dished.
The Duggar men took a more comical approach to addressing Jinger’s changes. Jana’s twin, John-David, said Jinger is “not on the same planet as most of here” while her sister Jessa Seewald’s husband Ben said she’s “got a condition.” “I don’t know if we’ve ever seen her like this,” he quipped.
During the episode, Jinger revealed she first took a liking to Jeremy, 28, during a mission trip in Central America. The two first met through Ben and Jessa.
While Duggar fans in the know are already aware Jinger and Jeremy are engaged to be married (check out their engagement photoshoot here!), the episodes have yet to catch up to present day. Episode 1 saw Jeremy ask Jinger’s dad, Jim Bob Duggar, for his blessing to court her. The installment concluded with Jeremy asking Jinger to enter into an official courtship and him telling her “I love you.”
Jinger and Jeremy have not yet set a wedding date but have their post-nuptials plans settled. The couple recently shared they plan to move to Laredo, Texas, where Jeremy currently resides, and start a family.
Catch up with the Duggars on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on TLC’s “Counting On.”
