Saturday’s game between No. 4 Duke and North Carolina is much more than a regular-season finale between college basketball rivals. It’s the last home game for legendary Blue Devils head coach Mike Krzyzewski, and ticket prices indicate just how much anticipation there is for the contest at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Seats are being sold on the secondary ticket market as if it is the national championship game. On Friday morning, the cheap ticket at Vivid Seats could be had for a whopping $4,663. The highest-priced ticket was nearly $17,000.

There have been reports throughout the week of some tickets being sold for more than $50,000.

Krzyzewski announced that he would retire from college basketball prior to the start of the season. In 41 years as Duke’s head coach, the 75-year-old has won more games than any college basketball coach in history with five national championships.

While Duke and North Carolina might have the sport’s biggest rivalry, the stakes for Saturday's game aren’t particularly high. The Blue Devils have already clinched at least a share of the regular-season ACC Championship. The Tar Heels are likely headed to the NCAA Tournament, though they won’t be among the higher seeds in the field.

The first matchup between the rivals this season wasn’t competitive. Duke beat North Carolina 87-67 at Chapel Hill on Feb. 5. AJ Griffin scored 27 points for the Blue Devils, who led by as much as 28 points in the second half.

At home, Duke is favored by 12.5 points. The Blue Devils are in contention to land one of the four No. 1 seeds in the NCAA Tournament.
