Dunkin Donuts Twitter Contest: Free Donuts for World Trivia
Dunkin Donuts is tweeting up a storm today as it celebrates National Donut Day. The holiday is celebrated the first Friday of each June and began in 1938 as an event by the Salvation Army to honor women who gave out donuts to soldiers during World War I.
Do you know your world trivia well? Are you a huge donut fan? Each hour, Dunkin Donuts is tweeting out a new question.
The donuts around the worlDD twitter contest started at 10:00am EST and will go until all 6 trivia questions are answered.
Question #1: Which country sells these Smiley Donuts? Russia, Peru, or Puerto Rico?
Question #2: DD in Korea offers a donut in what shape: Banana, Coffee Cup, or Letter D?
Question #3: In Spain DD serves donuts featuring this citrus flavor: Tangerine, Grapefruit, or Orange?
Question #4: DD in China offers Shake Shake Munchkins in what flavor? Cheeseburger, Pizza, or Hot Dog?
If you're a U.S. resident and know a bit about the world of donuts, get on Twitter quick to answer the next questions and win a $50 Dunkin Donuts card.
Otherwise, just head to your closest donut store and celebrate. Krispy Kreme is simply giving away one donut per customer, no purchase necessary. Dunkin' Donuts, on the other hand, is giving away a free donut with a purchase of a beverage (soda and cool drinks don't count).
