Dwayne Johnson's time at the gym didn't go well after he suffered an injury just above his eye. He talked about the incident to his fans via social media.

Johnson shared a video of him in his home gym, which he calls"Iron Paradise," on Monday. In the clip, The Rock was seen with blood streaking down his face. It turned out that it was caused by an accident after an intense workout.

"Sometimes, well, often times, things get intense here in Iron Paradise but we ain’t playin’ tiddlywinks and we ain’t reciting nursery rhymes," he said in the video as blood streaked down his face.

"You get lumped up every once in a while and things happened.”

Johnson then put a finger on the blood and tasted it. "That's good," he said before adding, "That's really good. Back to work."

In the caption, Johnson revealed that he threw around his 50-pound chains for a drop set and he got lumped up. The "Black Adam" star needed stitches after the injury. He also joked about the taste of his blood in the caption.

"Taste your blood, keep training and stitch up later - rules of the house," he wrote.

"And I can confirm my blood tastes like Teremana, calluses and BlaMoan (black and samoan) Hot Sauce. Have a productive week, my friends - keep it light and a lil’ fun, but get after it like a MF.”

On the same day, Johnson shared a clip of how they celebrated his mom Ata's birthday. In the video, Ata could be seen sitting with Dwayne's youngest daughter Tiana on her lap. The "Fast and Furious" star sang "Happy Birthday" and handed her two cakes with candles, but his daughter Jasmine was too excited to blow the candles. His two little girls even clapped their hands after Jasmine blew it.

"Happy Birthday @atajohnson aka Mama Rock," Johnson wrote in the caption.

"Beautiful birthday weekend as we all celebrated my mom’s big day. We go down this unpredictable road of life and we never know what’s around the corner - so we do our best to treat every day for what it is - a true blessing."

Johnson said no one epitomizes that philosophy more than his mom. The Rock was very proud of his mom whom he described as a "survivor" every single day. He also described her as a "shining beacon of love, joy and kindness."

Johnson added that his favorite part of the video was when his daughter blew out all the candles.
