Actor Dwayne Johnson took to Instagram on Tuesday to explain the backstory behind the latest episode of "Young Rock," and thanked his coach Jodi Cwik.

The 48-year-old actor posted a video on the social media platform, saying it was 11.15 p.m. and that he was done for the day after filming for his upcoming superhero movie "Black Adam."

After promising his fans he will keep them updated about the movie, the actor said, for now, he would like to discuss NBC's "Young Rock," which airs every Tuesday.

Johnson explained this week’s episode was special as it showed the actor being evicted from his Hawaii home in 1987. He further revealed how he used to live in a motel with Bruno Lauer, who was an American professional wrestling manager.

"Cheers to 2nd chances and moments that change your life. Some deeper context and backstory for tonight’s #youngrock episode," the actor captioned. "We can all look back at defining moments and people that changed the direction of our lives."

"Thank you coach, Jodi Cwik for seeing the potential in that punk kid. You shaking my hand and NOT letting it go, changed my life," he concluded. "Rest In Peace, love you and see you down the road."

Besides the "Young Rock" series, the actor is vigorously working out for his upcoming fantasy adventure, "Black Adam," which is slated to release on July 29, 2022.

The movie is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and the screenplay is penned by Adam Sztykiel, Sohrab Noshirvani and Rory Haines. In March, Johnson welcomed Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Fate, which will mark his first superhero movie.

The actor will also feature in the action franchise, "Fast & Furious 9," which is slated to release on June 25. The movie stars Vin Diesel, John Cena, and Michelle Rodriguez. Johnson will also feature in "Fast and Furious 10," which is scheduled for April 2, 2022.

Johnson's long-awaited movie "Jungle Cruise" was originally slated to release on October 11, 2019, but was later moved to July 24, 2020. However, due to the ongoing pandemic, the movie is now scheduled for July 30, 2021, release.
