Lakers’ newest addition Dwight Howard admitted that he has always been kind of “weird” and revealed his unforgettable moment at Staples Center.

As a veteran All Star in the league, Howard has had an array of accomplishments in his career. During his draft year, Howard was the 1st overall pick. As he progresses in the NBA, the 10-Time All Star also once became the number one player in the country.

However, Howard admitted that there is one thing that hasn’t happened in his career – an NBA championship. In a recent interview with “Fair Game,” Howard looked back at his achievements and expressed his consistent desire to win an NBA title in the future.

“A lot of things did happen, the one thing that hasn’t happened and that’s always been on my goals list. So I wanna continue to strive to win the championship,” Howard said.

It was also revealed that Howard was used to doing things on his own. During the interview, the host took the opportunity to ask the former Orlando Magic star who his closest friends are in the NBA.

“I’ve had some friends. Jodee Meeks, I would say he probably be one of my closest friends. I just never had a lot of friends,” Howard revealed.

With Howard showing a jolly persona inside the court, it’s a bit hard to imagine that a guy like him would be hard to get along with. To everybody’s surprise, the 6-foot-11 big man admitted that even when he was a kid, he never really had a lot of friends. In fact, Howard even said that he has always been “kind of weird.”

“I never really had a lot of friends. I have always been kind of weird,” Howard admitted.

Despite having the best times of his career with the Orlando Magic, Howard revealed that he mostly enjoyed playing basketball with the Los Angeles Lakers.

To this day, Howard is still thrilled by one of his unforgettable moments at Staples Center. According to him, he will never forget how he amazed the fans and his teammates when he hit a three-point shot against Denver Nuggets.

Howard also said that he developed a good relationship with almost everybody in LA. The 33-year-old NBA star recalled how fun it was to bond even with the camera people and security personnel at Staples Center.

Currently, Howard is about to officially become a Laker once again. As early as now, the reunion with the team has already been a hot topic due to the assumptions that Howard isn’t mentally matured enough to play with LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
