‘DWTS’ Predictions: Which Season 30 Pair Will Be Eliminated After ‘Queen’ Night?
Nine teams are left in the competition and will have a chance to “rock” the audience on “Queen Night” during Season 30 of “Dancing With the Stars.” However, before the night comes to an end, one team will no longer be able to claim “We Are The Champions,” as they will be eliminated.
Week seven will see the remaining teams performing not only a solo Foxtrot, Quickstep, Paso Doble or Jive to songs by the hit band, but also the Relay Dance rounds, where teams can pick up some extra judges’ points.
While stars like Jojo Siwa and Jenna Johnson, Iman Shumpert and Daniella Karagach, Amanda Kloots and Alan Bersten and Jimmie Allen and Emma Slater are all likely to be safe after topping the leaderboard on Week 6, three other teams could find themselves potentially performing their final dances.
After topping the leaderboard and getting the first 10 of the season (from Len of all judges), Melora Hardin and Artem Chigvintsev took a tumble during Horror night, following to the bottom of the judges’ leaderboard with only 34 points for their jive. While the score is still considerably good, falling to the bottom can be something that doesn’t bode well for the pair, unless they manage to come back up to the top with their Foxtrot. However, “The Office” star likely will stick around another week.
Similar to Melora and Artem, The Miz and Witney were also at the bottom of the leaderboard last week, earning a 34 for their Paso Doble. Unlike their fellow team at the bottom, they have trended on the lower side throughout the season, staying solidly in the middle of the pack for the most part. At this point in the competition, with the majority of remaining teams having already received at least one ten from the judges, and all but one other team all consistently scoring at least one nine from the judges each week now, The Miz is falling behind when it comes to average scores. If his fan base isn’t as strong as some of the other teams still in the competition, he could find himself taking a final bow.
However, the team that could be most likely to say goodbye is Sunisa Lee and Sasha Farber, who, despite solid scores all season, landed in the Bottom Two last week and are only still in the competition because the judges chose to save them instead of Kenya Moore and Brandon Armstrong, who had landed there for the third time. Depending on if fans put them there again this week or not, and which other team joins them, it could come time for the gold medalist to cha cha out of the ballroom.
“Dancing With the Stars” will air on Monday, Nov. 1 at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
