'DWTS' Pro Jenna Johnson Welcomes First Baby With Val Chmerkovskiy: 'Our World Is Changed'

"Dancing with the Stars" professional dancer Jenna Johnson has become a mom after welcoming a baby boy with Val Chmerkovskiy on Tuesday.

The couple made the happy announcement on their joint Instagram page by posting a black-and-white photo of the newborn's hand grabbing Johnson's thumb.

"Our world is forever changed. 1.10.2023," the post read.

The couple did not share the name of their newborn but excited friends and fans flocked to the comments section to congratulate the new parents.

Cheryl Burke wrote, "CONGRATULATIONS!"

"Congrats guys!!! So happy for you!" "Bachelorette" alum Joe Amabile said.

Tamar Braxton also commented, "Omg he's here," while Rumer Willis wrote, "Congratulations you two, I can't wait to meet you sweet boy."

Fellow "DWTS" dancer Daniella Karagach also congratulated the new mom.

Chmerkovskiy and Johnson first announced the pregnancy news in July, ending "two years of infertility, and hundreds of negative tests after negative tests."

"If any of you out there are struggling to get pregnant, suffering from infertility, or mourning a pregnancy loss... don't lose HOPE," she said at the time. "It may not happen on your timeline and the journey may rip your heart open at times, but don't give up on yourself and your precious baby! It will happen."

The first-time mom recalled having mixed feelings of "shock, disbelief, and sheer joy" when she saw her first positive pregnancy test.

Johnson also revealed how she let her husband know about the baby news.

"I went and I got these little Baby Jordans, these white sneakers," Jenna told People the same month. "I put them in a box that was his size of Nikes. So, he didn't expect anything. Then I put two little pregnancy tests in there."

"He came over and chucked off the lid of the box and started rummaging through it. He looked at the shoes and was like, 'How small are these sneakers?' Then it hit him and his face ... it was priceless," she added.

Jenna announced on her Instagram page last August that she was expecting a baby boy and she was "so excited to become a boy mom."
