‘DWTS’ Pro Val Chmerkovskiy Professes Love For ‘SYTYCD’ All-Star Jenna Johnson
“Dancing With the Stars” pro Val Chmerkovskiy recently professed his love for his girlfriend, Jenna Johnson.
On his Instagram account, the professional dancer posted a photo of himself with Johnson at the Industry Dance Awards red carpet. In the picture, Johnson has a huge smile on her face as Chmerkovskiy kisses her. The dancer captioned the snap by saying that Johnson is his real prize.
While at the event on Wednesday, Chmerkovskiy spoke with Entertainment Tonight about his older brother’s recent wedding to Peta Murgatroyd and shared how this has changed his outlook on marriage. “It was beautiful. I’m happy for them. I’m happy that Peta is now officially a Chmerkovskiy and I officially have a sister,” he said.
When asked if he’s thinking about tying the knot anytime soon, Chmerkovskiy admitted that he has the “wedding bug.” “You know, I’m in a great place and I’m in love, and I’m very grateful for that,” he said.
According to People, the couple has been dating on-and-off for the past two years, but they seem to be taking things more seriously lately.
Meanwhile, on her Instagram account, Johnson uploaded a snap with Chmerkovskiy during their recent day off. The couple headed to the Getty Museum on Aug. 9.
Chmerkovskiy was previously in a relationship with Amber Rose, but the couple split earlier this year. On his Instagram, the dancer penned a lengthy post (via US Weekly) confirming that he and Rose have decided to go their separate ways. Chmerkovskiy explained that he did so in order for his followers to stop spamming his posts with their questions.
Toward the end of his message, Chmerkovskiy called Rose “an amazing mother, an awesome friend, a loving human.” He also stressed how the two of them live very different lives and how unfortunate it was that things did not work out between the two of them. Despite their breakup, the 30-year-old said that he will continue to support Rose in any way that he can.
The reality TV star commented on Chmerkovskiy’s post, saying thank you to her ex-boyfriend. As of late, the photo has been removed from the pro dancer’s account.
