'DWTS' Pro Witney Carson Is Pregnant With Baby No. 2
Witney Carson from "Dancing With The Stars" revealed during Monday's episode of the reality show that she is expecting a second baby with her husband, Carson McAllister. The couple already has a 22-month-old baby boy named Leo together.
"I'm so excited to finally announce that Carson, Leo and myself are expecting baby number two," Witney said during the show, People reported. "I'm so blessed and this just felt like a really good time to share it, and I can finally share it, which feels great. I'm very blessed."
Following the show, the professional dancer also spoke with ET and shared how she felt about the announcement.
"It felt amazing!" Witney shared. "I mean, I grew up on this show, I started when I was 18. So the fact that you know, I got married [while] on this show, I've announced that I'm having a kid on the show, it's just like a full circle moment!"
The official Twitter handle of the show also shared a sweet video of how Witney, her husband and their son celebrated the news after checking with a pregnancy test kit at home.
"Congratulations to @WitneyCarson and her growing family! We can't wait for your bundle of joy to arrive!" They wrote alongside the video, which was filmed on Nov. 7.
Witney started her career with "So You Think You Can Dance" season 9 and then she appeared in "Dancing with the Stars" seasons 16 and 17. She also worked as a pro dancer in season 18 with partner Cody Simpson. She eventually won season 19 alongside her dancing partner, Alfonso Ribeiro.
Witney has been partnered with Wayne Brady in the ongoing season. Earlier in August, she opened up about being a working mother via Instagram.
"I've been reflecting on something a friend told me the other day... It's possible to feel both completely overwhelmed as a working mom and extremely grateful," she captioned the video of her working on the sets while taking care of her little one. "It's a tricky balance, one I'm working on everyday."
"Guilty for not working and guilty for working.... Anytime I feel guilty about not being home with my son, I remember who I'm doing it for," she added.
