Easter Sunday 2021: Quotes, Bible Verses About Jesus’ Resurrection
Easter Sunday commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This important Christian holiday falls on the third day after Good Friday, which marks Jesus' crucifixion.
In the Christian calendar, Easter follows Lent, the 40-day observance during which many Christians repent, pray and fast. The week before Easter is called Holy Week, and it comprises Maundy Thursday, which commemorates Jesus’ last supper, and Good Friday.
