Ed Sheeran, Cherry Seaborn New Hollywood Couple: The Two Are Dating, Says Source

Watch out Hollywood, there is a new couple in town! Ed Sheeran and Cherry Seaborn are dating, according to reports.

An E! News source confirmed the dating news and said that Seaborn is “definitely his chick.” The two even spent a part of their Labor Day weekend on a Las Vegas trip where they met friends including Sheeran’s good pal, Calvin Harris. The two joined Harris, who performed at the Wet Republic inside the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino on Monday evening.

While Harris delivered his set, Sheeran and Seaborn were spotted hanging out near the DJ booth. Sheeran even shared a group picture of their Las Vegas trip on Instagram, which was taken after the show. He captioned the image, "What a crew at Wet Republic today." In the picture, the British singer posed alongside Seaborn, Harris and a friend.

The source also told E! that Sheeran talked to his friends about Seaborn and reportedly “made it clear that she was his girl.”

Over the past week, the two were seen spending time together, which sparked dating speculations. Sheeran and Seaborn were seen strolling around the Big Apple last week, and even went for a New York Mets baseball game in Queens together. The couple was also reportedly spotted running errands together late last week.

Neither of the two nor their representatives have commented on the dating news.

The “Thinking Out Loud” singer was previously linked to Nicole Scherzinger, although the two are no longer dating, the Mirror reported. The former Pussycat Doll and Sheeran were rumored to have gotten close to each other, however romance between the two were not meant to be due to their age gap. A source close to the star told the Mirror that “they were never serious” and it’s “now old news.”

The insider explained that the 13-year age gap between Sheeran, 24, and Scherzinger, 37, was “too big for them.” However, the two “remain on good terms,” said the source.

Sheeran has mostly been single this year, given his split from Athina Andrelos, whom he dated from more than a year. The singer confirmed the break-up in March.
