Multiple charities and organizations have stepped up to provide aid to El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, the wake of the weekend shootings.

While the shock is still lingering from the mass shootings that took place in Texas and Ohio, there have been many acts of charity. One of the more noteworthy efforts, individually, comes from the #ElPasoChallenge a sixth-grade student came up with to help the city recover.

Several charities and organizations have also stepped up to provide aid to the cities still recovering from the shootings.

CBS affiliate WHIO-TV teamed up with the Dayton Foundation to help raise money for victims and victims’ families in the city. The Foundation specifically created the Oregon District Tragedy Fund to ensure those funds go to the right places.

The American Red Cross has also started accepting donations online to go towards both tragedies.

El Paso’s Townsquare Media has also established a victims’ fund on GoFundMe to gather more donations. The El Paso Community Foundation and the Paso del Notre Community Foundation weren’t far behind, either, on GoFundMe.

Local blood centers, such as Dayton’s Community Blood Center, have also been asking for more donors to help provide blood to the wounded who may need transfusions.
