Elle Fanning Spotted Dancing Freely On LA Sidewalk For Music Video
Elle Fanning appeared to be having the time of her life when she was spotted dancing freely on a Los Angeles sidewalk this week.
On Friday, the young actress was captured dancing and singing on a sidewalk while rocking a vintage bell bottom jumpsuit. Apparently, she was filming a music video for her upcoming movie “Teen Spirit,” which is set to be released on April 5.
Fanning gave it her all when the cameras started to roll and she didn’t mind that many cars were passing by while they were filming. She even playfully grooved to the music while sporting a pair of black boots.
In one snap leaked by Daily Mail, the younger sister of Dakota Fanning is seen belting out her song while throwing her hands wide in front of the camera.
In the movie, Elle stars as Violet, a small town girl who is trying to succeed as a performer. This is the first project that showcases Fanning’s singing prowess. She admitted that she sought out the role herself because she’s been very passionate about singing since she was a kid.
“I always had this dream of being a pop star. That feeling, like I can just let loose and perform, was so attractive,” Fanning told Billboard earlier this month.
Meanwhile, Elle recently addressed the sibling rivalry between her and Dakota. In an interview with PorterEdit, she admitted that she was once mad that Dakota got to play a cameo on “Friends.”
According to her, she refused to watch the episode where Dakota played Mackenzie from the show’s 10th season. Elle said that her decision to not watch it was mostly because she didn’t get to play one of Phoebe’s triplets after auditioning for it when she was just 5 years old.
“I had an [audition] to be on ‘Friends’ once. I might be remembering this wrong, but I think I was gonna be one of Phoebe’s triplets,” the “Maleficent” actress revealed, adding that she decided to boycott the series after failing to nab the role.
Nevertheless, things between the Hollywood sisters definitely changed through the years. Elle said that they now support each other and have each other’s back.
“I’m very luck to have a family member who’s in the business. She understands what it’s like and what you’re going through,” she told Us Weekly last September.
