Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi enjoyed an al fresco dinner date in Montecito, California, after selling their multimillion-dollar Beverly Hills mansion.
The daytime talk show host, 63, and the Hollywood actress, 48, were photographed when they stepped out in the opulent Santa Barbara community for a dinner date Sunday. In the photos obtained by Daily Mail, the pair could be seen walking hand-in-hand to a restaurant in the area with outdoor dining.
DeGeneres kept things casual and sporty by donning black pants, a dark zip-up jacket and brown leather sneakers. She also wore a K95 mask for protection amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
As for de Rossi, she embraced a boho chic style by wearing a patterned duster over a plain white tunic, gray pants and brown suede boots. She let her long blonde tresses down and wore a trellis-patterned face mask.
The couple’s sighting comes after they sealed a multimillion-dollar deal for their Beverly Hills mansion over the weekend. The luxurious estate was sold for $47 million a month after DeGeneres listed it on the market with an asking price of $53.5 million, Wall Street Journal reported, citing unnamed sources.
The identity of the buyer represented by Bob Safai of Madison Partners was not disclosed, and the spokesman for DeGeneres and her wife, who are known for flipping properties, did not immediately respond when asked for comment by the media outlet.
Although DeGeneres sold the property for way less than her asking price, she still managed to secure a decent profit from it as she paid $45 million when she bought the mansion from Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine in May 2019, as per TMZ.
As previously reported, DeGeneres and de Rossi listed the mansion with Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency in early March. The two-story property covers about 10,000 square feet and features luxurious amenities such as a resort-style pool, a sunken tennis court, a paneled library, an indoor gym and an outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven.
The main structure features five bedrooms and nine bathrooms, as well as a massive media room and a gourmet kitchen. There is also a separate guest house where visitors can enjoy equally luxurious amenities.
