Ellen Degeneres and wife Portia de Rossi have decided that $55 million - the previous asking price on their Beverly Hills compound - was not quite enough for the sprawling, 15,000 square foot estate.

In a move unheard of since the beginning of the real estate collapse, the couple raised the asking price by $8 million, bringing it to a staggering $63 million.

The home, which sits on a 3 acre lot, features multiple guest homes and an infinity pool. Trulia estimates the monthly mortgage payment for a qualified buyer to be $370,423 a month.

Degeneres bought the main house on the property for $29 million in 2007 the same year that Forbes ranked her number 17 on its list of Richest Women in Entertainment, estimating her net worth to be $65 million. In 2010, she landed again at 17 on the magazine's Highest Earners list, with an estimated income that year of $55 million.

The couple was married in 2008, and have been dating since 2004.
