While Elon Musk hasn’t been shy about voicing his opinion on matters of solar, space, and electric cars, he recently opened up on a more personal level about his own preferences for movies.

The 49-year-old Tesla CEO has reportedly been known to weigh on the side of sci-fi with a penchant for films such as “Star Wars” and “Bladerunner,” according to Business Insider. Even Musk’s Cybertruck launch was reminiscent of the movie “Bladerunner” as the all-electric truck was compared to the futuristic themes in the film with its striking appearance.

Even Musk’s favorite movie of 2019 hinges on the tech said as he revealed to one Twitter user on Tuesday that his movie of choice for the year was “Parasite.” The 2019 film, which is said to be an Oscar contender, has already won the Palme D’Or at the Cannes Film Festival.

The storyline behind the flick follows a poor family that has their lives inserted into a rich family’s life. Written and directed by Bong Joon-Ho, the film integrates character Ki-taek and his family into the wealthy and glamourous Parks family, where they “get entangled in an unexpected incident,” according to IMDb.

Musk also told another Twitter follower that his favorite Netflix series is “Black Mirror” – another futuristic thriller.
