Elon Musk Slammed On Twitter For Telling Johnny Depp To ‘Bury The Hatchet’

Elon Musk was under fire for telling Johnny Depp to just move on from his legal battle with ex-wife Amber Heard.

Just recently, Musk addressed his alleged three-way affair with Heard and Cara Delevingne. The SpaceX CEO denied it and also shared a word of advice for the exes.

"Regarding this lawsuit, I would recommend that everyone involved bury the hatchet... life is too short for such extended negativity. Nobody is going to say, after it’s all over, they wished the court battle had lasted longer,” he told The New York Post.

However, Musk’s advice didn’t sit well with the Twitter users. Initially, many sided with Heard when she claimed that Depp was abusive and violent. In fact, he was dropped from the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise.

But earlier this year, a recording of Heard confessing that she hit Depp and started their fight leaked. She even taunted Depp to tell the world that he was the victim and see if many would believe him.

The incident changed the narrative of their split. That’s why the netizens who have been supporting Depp slammed Musk for telling him what to do.

“Every time Johnny Depp speaks up, the world tries to silence him. The media bullies him, Amber bullies him, & MSM praises Elon Musk for bullying him w/ his ‘move on’ opinion. No one tells Amber to ‘move on’,” @LillyJane916 wrote.

“I wish people would stop pretending Elon Musk is a good person who cares for anyone but himself ... ,” one wrote.

“Hey @elonmusk Amber Heard smeared Johnny Depp and ruined his life. Clearing his name in a court of law is a very constructive thing to do,” @0SilenceDogood opined.

Meanwhile, one netizen shared a copy of the deposition from another witness claiming that she saw Heard with bruises when Depp was out of the country. When asked if Heard was interacting with anyone at the time, the witness said “yes” and dropped Musk’s name.

Again, Musk has repeatedly denied the claims that he was seeing Heard while she was married to Depp.

“Also, I wish to confirm again that Amber and I only started going out about a month after her divorce filing. I don’t think I was ever even in the vicinity of Amber during their marriage,” he said.
