Emily Blunt, John Krasinski In ‘A Quiet Place’: Photos Of The Adorable Couple Making First Movie Together

Actors John Krasinski and Emily Blunt have been a couple for nine years but fans never got the opportunity to see them together in a feature film. Krasinski, however, is changing that with his new project “A Quiet Place,” which is being rewritten, directed and acted in by him, and also stars Blunt.

After it was revealed that the couple, who have been together since 2008 and got married in 2010, will be acting in a movie together, Krasinski took to social media — both his Twitter and Instagram accounts — to share an adorable reaction to the news.

“Question: ‘John, who's the one actor you’ve been wanting to work with?’ Answer: (see above),” the 37-year-old actor captioned the screenshot of an article, which read “Emily Blunt & John Krasinski Team For ‘A Quiet Place,’” on Instagram.

Blunt, 34, does not have an official Instagram or Twitter account.

The production for “A Quiet Place” is expected to begin later in the year and the new project will be “a semi-contained thriller set on a farm where a family is being terrorized by evil,” the Hollywood Reporter reported.

Krasinski, well-loved for his work on “The Office,” has donned the director’s hat previously for “Brief Interviews with Hideous Men” and “The Hollars.” Blunt, on the other hand will be playing the lead character in Disney’s Mary Poppins Returns and the project began production in London earlier this month.

The couple shares two daughters, 3-year-old Hazel and 9-month-old Violet.

“All the clichés of parenting are true and you feel all sorts of new things,” the Krasinski told Entertainment Tonight in August 2016. “It was really this new existential magnet that you feel draw to your family.”

In another interview with Huffington Post last year, Krasinski expressed his love for his wife by saying, “That is legitimately my greatest achievement, and I’m OK saying that,” referring to their marriage.
