Eminem goes violent again in video for Space Bound [video]

In the video Eminem's new single Space Bound the rapper once again deals with some heavy and violent themes--this time suicide. Towards the end of the video Eminem shoots himself in his chin through his head apparently because he's in love with a woman who doesn't love him back.

This isn't the first time the rapper has showcased violence in his videos. The video for his hit single Love the Way You Lie showcased domestic violence. Eminem's lryics have often described beatings, shootings and rapes.

In Space Bound Eminem plays two versions of a character one that's agitated when with his girlfriend (Played by former adult film star Sasha Grey) and one that seems more calm. Grey claims that one version is actually Em while the other is his subconscious. The video turns violent when Eminem relaizes his girlfriend has cheated (by looking at her phone), he attacks her and then turns the gun on himself.

I don't know if it necessarily has a thorough message, but I think it shows that even the strongest of love meets destruction at some point, Grey told MTV News. Whether or not you come out of it together and whole is an entirely different question.
