Eminem's Ex-Wife Kim Scott Hospitalized After Suicide Attempt Following Her Mom's Death: Report

Eminem's ex-wife Kim Scott was taken to a hospital after allegedly attempting to kill herself last month, according to a report.

Police and emergency workers responded to a call on July 30 reporting a suicidal person at Scott's Michigan home, TMZ learned from unnamed law enforcement sources Wednesday.

According to the sources, Scott was "so combative" when police arrived at her home and had to be restrained, the report said. The 46-year-old allegedly became "violent," thus paramedics were not able to check her vitals.

It appeared that Scott cut herself because she had several small lacerations on the back of her leg, sources told the outlet. There was a good amount of blood on the floor, according to the report.

Scott was rushed to the hospital for medical and psychological evaluation, but she is now back at home and recovering following the incident. However, it remains unclear if she is getting additional care.

The incident reportedly took place a week after Scott's mother, Kathleen Sluck, 65, passed away on July 23, according to Page Six, which cited her obituary. A funeral for Sluck was held at Lee-Ellena Funeral Home on July 29.

Scott's sister, Dawn Scott, died in 2016 of a suspected heroin overdose at 41.

Following her twin sibling's death, Scott said she would "never feel whole" again, Page Six reported at the time.

"Dawn was my sweet, beautiful sister who lost her way," she reportedly wrote in an online condolence book in January 2016. "I kept a light lit for her hoping she’d find her way back to me. I miss her and love her more than anything I could ever say. I wish she was here so I could hug her and tell her I love her."

She continued, "Half of me is gone and I will never feel whole again. She made me laugh and kept me on my toes. She was the best sister and friend in the world and I will miss her until we are together again."

Scott was previously married to Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, in 1999. They divorced in 2001 but briefly remarried in 2006. Their second marriage only lasted for a few months before they decided to call it quits for good.

Scott and Eminem share a daughter, Hailie, 25.
