Emma Stone And Andrew Garfield Reunite For Lunch Date Over Memorial Day Weekend

It appears Hollywood’s fan-favorite couple, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, are officially on the mend after a rumored rocky past few months. Despite reports that the “Amazing Spider-Man” co-stars had called it quits for good, they were spotted getting lunch together over Memorial Day Weekend.

According to E! Online, the power duo was spotted grabbing a bite in Venice, California, looking like they were in remarkably good spirits given the controversy surrounding their relationship this year. The 31-year-old actor has been away in Taiwan filming Martin Scorsese’s latest film “Silence” for several months. As a result, the couple was reportedly forced to put their romance on hold due to their hectic work schedules. However, a source close to the Stone, 26, and Garfield told People Magazine that they’re still very much in love and that the slow down in their relationship had much more to do with logistics than their desire to be together.

“Emma and Andrew are a great couple who have been apart for work,” the source allegedly said following another spotting of the couple in L.A. “They are still seeing each other. Nothing major happened between them while he was away other than a long and forced separation. Andrew has been incredibly busy and so has Emma. But the sparks are still there.”

In the latest photo of the pair, Garfield is sporting significantly longer hair than normal, likely for his role in “Silence.” Unfortunately, despite the couple having time together in L.A., the workload for the two isn’t behind them just yet. Stone is getting started with promoting her new movie, “Aloha,” with her co-star Bradley Cooper. Meanwhile, Garfield sounds like he’s got to come down from his “Silence” character. As previously reported, sourced told Us Weekly that the actor was very much in a dark place for his character.

“He’s very in his character,” a source told the outlet. “He's lost weight, and he's in a dark place mentally for his performance and he's not boyfriend material right now."

Still, seeing the couple out and about inspires confidence that they might be able to reestablish their relationship.
