Emma Stone Debuts New ‘Taylor Swift’ Hairstyle, Rocks New Platinum Blonde Hair
Emma Stone has been spotted with a fresh new cut and lighter blonde hair color after leaving a hair salon in Beverly Hills. The actress’ new hairstyle is also similar to Taylor Swift’s new platinum blonde look.
Avid fans may recall that Stone has been sporting various hair colors over the years. However, the actress has recently joined the list of celebrities with platinum blonde hair such as Swift, “The Voice” coach Christine Aguilera, Kristen Stewart and “X-Men: Apocalypse” star Jennifer Lawrence. Stone debuted her new look on Saturday, May 21, after being photographed while stepping out of the Meche salon in Beverly Hills, Glamour reported.
Stone, who is a natural blonde, has recently shown off her brunette hair during the 2016 Met Gala event held in early May. Although, some fans may also remember the actress having red colored hair in previous movie projects. The “Spiderman” star’s platinum blonde hairstyle marks a big departure from her previous looks, as stated in the same report. Celebrity colorist Tracey Cunningham is said to be the stylist who handled Stone’s recent hair transformation.
Meanwhile, Stone’s latest hair color and style bear some similarities to the “Bad Blood” singer’s new look. Swift debuted her own wavy platinum blonde hair in the May 2016 issue of Vogue, E!News stated. Fans also saw the multi-awarded singer rock her lighter colored blonde lock during the recently held 2016 Coachella.
It is still unclear if Stone’s decision to get a new hairstyle is linked to a new project. The actress is set to star as the iconic Disney villain Cruella de Vil in the upcoming live-action movie titled “Cruella,” as indicated in the same report. The said character is known to have a combination of platinum blonde hair, as well as black hair. Apart from “Cruella,” Stone has been filming the upcoming movie “Battle of the Sexes” although the actress is said to wear a brown wig for her role.
