Emma Stone?s Most Striking Fashions On ?The Amazing Spider-Man? Red Carpet [PHOTOS]
Maybe it's the way she wears clothes so effortlessly, or maybe it's because she just landed her first Vogue cover. Whatever the reason, Emma Stone has been pulling out all the stops for The Amazing Spider-Man red carpets as the film premieres around the world.
Stone was photographed by famed photographer Mario Testino for Vogue's July cover. She dishes on the inspiration behind her style, revealing that there is nothing sexier than being oneself.
I never really wanted to dress like anyone -- well, that's not true, Stone tells the fashion magazine. I probably wanted to dress like Diane Keaton, but that's just because I love her so much. ... She's really herself, and that's what I like.
The Revlon spokesmodel said she first realized the true meaning of fashion when she wore a Lanvin gown to the 2011 BAFTA's.
It was a red dress, it was asymmetrical, and the minute I put it on I thought, 'Oh, this is what fashion does for people,' she explains. It makes them feel like it's an extension of themselves.
Stone made her film debut in 2007's Superbad. She has since earned her title of Hollywood sweetheart, cracking jokes fluidly one second and looking like a prim damsel the next. Her talent is only outshined by her charisma, which is a disarming combination for someone in the movie biz.
A lot of young actresses are either very serious or doe-eyed, director Marc Webb tells Vogue. Emma sidesteps that.
The now-blonde actress has become a household name, thanks to hits like Easy A and The Help. Up next, Stone will appear on the big screen in The Amazing Spider-Man. Stone plays Gwen Stacy, the 17-year-old love interest of Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield). The film will hit theaters July 3.
