Andy Samberg, host of the 2015 Primetime Emmy Awards, kicked off the anticipated event with a Bill Cosby joke -- one that left the star-studded audience in stitches. During the “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” actor’s monologue, he stated that he was honored to follow in the footsteps of other big stars who previously hosted the annual ceremony.

“I have to say I'm so proud to join the ranks of past Emmy hosts like Robert Blake and Bill Cosby,” he began. “Oh, no! I have to get out of here. Between Bill Cosby, Jared Fogle and Robert Durst, not a good year for dudes who love hoagies."

Cosby, who hosted the Primetime Emmy Awards in 1966, 1969 and 1970, has been accused of rape and drug facilitation by 22 alleged victims, which was said to have began in the mid-1960s. However, the “Cosby Show” star has denied the allegations and has not been charged of any crimes.
