Emmy Awards 2015 Red Carpet: When And Where To Watch Celebrity Arrivals Online And On TV
It’s that time of year again when all our favorite actors gather to find out who will be dubbed the best in primetime television at the 2015 Emmy Awards presentation. And while we’re anxious to see which TV stars will go home with the coveted winged statuette during the 67th annual ceremony airing Sunday, Sept. 20, we’re even more excited to see what will happen on the ever-surprising red carpet before it.
So when can audiences expect red-carpet coverage to begin? Well, viewers should tune in to the E network to catch the stars at the 2015 Emmy Awards show strutting their stuff on the iconic runway at 6 p.m. EDT.
No TV? No problem! Yahoo will live-stream Emmy Awards red-carpet arrivals, as well as preshow coverage hosted by Yahoo Style Editor-In-Chief Joe Zee and fashion correspondent June Ambrose.
After their red-carpet arrivals, the stars will be ushered into the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles for the Emmy Awards presentation, which will be hosted by “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” actor Andy Samberg. Airing on Fox, the show will run 8-11 p.m. EDT.
The “Saturday Night Live” veteran told Access Hollywood he feels quite prepared to host such an acclaimed event thanks to his time on NBC’s hit sketch-comedy series.
“I’m used to ‘SNL,’ where you don’t freak out until the night of the show, and you know, the like pressure of, ‘This is gonna air live and we have to figure out what it is’ -- I did seven years of that,” Samberg said. “So, you know, in the end, it’s going to be the Emmys and we’ll do the best version of it we can and I feel really happy with the material that we’re working with so far, and I know we’re going to write more good stuff and then pare it down, so I’m excited. And, yeah, I do genuinely feel pretty calm about it.”
Audiences can anticipate all their beloved performers will attend the 2015 Emmy Awards -- from those in “Game of Thrones,” who lead the pack with 24 nominations, to those in the spooky “American Horror Story: Freak Show,” who lurk closely behind “GoT” with 19 nods. You can see the full list of nominees here.
