Emmys 2017 Best Dressed: Classiest Celebrity Red Carpet Looks
It’s Sept. 17 and the 2017 Emmys are finally here, which means so are the fashion-forward celebrities that come with it. With so many big name presenters, nominees and attendees, that’s a lot of red carpet looks. But some stand out above the rest.
Every year, stars step out on the Los Angeles red carpet looking especially classy and every year we’re able to catch a glimpse of it all on CBS. It’s a magical thing seeing all of the best gowns in the world on some of the most beautiful and talented people in the world.
Here are the celebrities that are looking especially amazing at this year’s show.
“Black-ish” star Yara Shahidi continues to have one of the best red-carpet style games as she stuns in a frilly, yet simple, beige dress with fun details. The actress always manages to choose looks that are both mature and young at the same time, which is not always easy to do, though she makes it look like it is.
Issa Rae from HBO’s “Insecure” is red hot in a custom Vera Wang gown. The dress color looks gorgeous on her, while her white accessories and nail polish really pop and help round out the outfit. Rae’s done-up hair is lovely and shows off her perfectly made-up face.
“Big Little Lies” actress Shailene Woodley is a green goddess in a long Ralph Lauren dress with a deep, but classy v-neck cut. Her pulled-back hair with a few strands left out to frame her face help to achieve that simple, but extremely pretty look.
Millie Bobby Brown looks like an actual princess in sweet Calvin Klein attire. Her character on “Stranger Things” might not have gotten to dress up in a lot of dresses and adorable clothes, but the actress always more than makes up for that when she attends red carpet events and this time is no different.
Leslie Jones looks like the star that she is in a gorgeous black dress by Christian Siriano. With black stilettos and large drop earrings, Jones completed the outfit perfectly. Her gorgeous and contagious smile was only the icing on top.
“The Sinner” actress Jessica Biel definitely didn’t pull a fashion sin, as she’s dressed in Ralph & Russo Couture, looking both elegant and radiant.
Tessa Thompson stepped out on the Emmys red carpet looking like an actual rainbow and it is just beautiful.
Judith Light, who’s a nominee for best supporting actress in a comedy series for “Transparent,” has a leg up on all the rest in the classy fashion department in an understated long-sleeve black dress.
Felicity Huffman is a breath of fresh air in her pale blue Tony Ward gown on the red carpet. The actress, who is nominated for best actress in a limited series, arrived at the event with her actor husband William H. Macy.
