“Empire” is concluding its first season after a little over two months on the air. Fans immediately became attached to the new Fox musical, which introduced viewers to the Lyon family … and their drama.
Season 1 will conclude with two back-to-back episodes that fans won’t want to miss. The drama will kick off with Lucious (Terrence Howard) moving forward with a “music-centered relationship” with Jamal (Jussie Smollett). Unfortunately for Jamal, Lucious is hiding a secret that will “change everything.” But Lucious isn’t the only one who will cause problems within the Lyon family. According to the synopsis, Hakeem (Bryshere Gray) will “flirt with the enemy” as he tries to make a move in his career.
But as viewers know, it’s not an episode without the Lyon matriarch, Cookie (Taraji P. Henson). The episode description for the “Empire” season finale teases that she’ll be “cooking up a plan of her own.”
Fans can watch the drama on “Empire” go down on Fox at 8 p.m. EDT when the Season 1 finale airs Wednesday night.
