‘Empire’ Season 3 Spoilers: Episode 11 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In ‘Play On’? [VIDEO]

Although Cookie vows that she wants Lucious out of her life, on “Empire” Season 3, episode 11, it looks like she will be struggling with her feelings for him more than she ever has before.

“Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) tries to move forward with Angelo (Taye Diggs) while struggling with guilt over her run-in with Lucious (Terrence Howard),” the synopsis for episode 11, “Play On” teases.

In the “Empire” promo, Cookie can be heard saying “Lucious has a power over me that I may never be able to break.” Last viewers saw of Cookie and Lucious, they were making out in his office until Cookie pulled away and told her former lover she was done with him.

In a sneak peek of episode 11 of the Fox series, Cookie can be seen trying to tell Angelo something, possibly what happened between her and Lucious, but he seemingly cuts her off. Will Cookie let Angelo know that she and Lucious shared a kiss?

“Elsewhere, Leah (Leslie Uggams) seeks out Tariq’s (Morocco Omari) help in taking down Anika (Grace Byers),” the synopsis for the Fox show says. In the sneak peek for “Play On,” Anika is stopped by Tariq who hands her a piece of paper.

After reading the content handed to her Anika begs Tariq no to do this to her. What does the paper say? Could Tariq be forcing Anika to turn her back on Lucious and Empire?

“Jamal (Jussie Smollett) and Tory (Rumer Willis) team up in the studio,” the synopsis states. Last viewers saw of Jamal and Tory, the two escaped from rehab to record a song which Lucious and Cookie seemed to like. Will Jamal’s parents support his latest project with bad girl Tory Ash?

“Empire” Season 3, episode 11 airs Wednesday, March 29, at 9 p.m. EDT on Fox.
