‘Engage Kiss’ Episode 1 Live Stream Details, Plot, Release Date [Spoilers]

Bayron City, a Mega-float type city in the Pacific Ocean, is rich in Orgonium, a new kind of energy resource. Due to the presence of the mineral, the world is closely watching Bayron City.

Apart from the world, demons are also after Orgonium and when they attack, the events are called D Hazards. Only a few people know about D Hazards and they are handled by Private Military Companies or PMCs.

"Engage Kiss" Episode 1 reveals the titular character named Shu who runs a small PMC. He is quite picky about taking up cases and is always short on cash.

However, he manages to survive because of the support of his ex-girlfriend Asano, an employee of a massive PMC that Shu used to work for.

Shu is also supported by a beautiful high school girl named Kisara.

Shu and Kisara have signed a contract and it is revealed that the latter is a demon. She supports his lifestyle and even helps his demon extermination missions.

“Bayron City――a Mega-Float type city in the Pacific Ocean, which doesn't belong to any particular nation. As the mine for Orgonium, a new energy resource, this city is the most noticed in the world right now, and here special cases caused by demons called D Hazards have been occurring frequently,” read the official synopsis of "Engage Kiss" anime.

“Only a handful of people know about the existence of D Hazards. They are handled by PMCs (Private Military Companies). Shu is a young man living in Bayron City who runs such a company, but his company is tiny. On top of that, he cherry-picks his jobs, so he is always in a bind for money,” it continued.

The cast of the anime includes Soma Saito as Shu Ogata, Saya Aizawa as Kisara, Lynn as Ayano Yugiri, and Rumi Okubo as Sharon Holygrail.

The series is based on the original story titled "Bayron City Express." "Engage Kiss" anime is directed by Tomonari Tanaka and the series structure and scripts are handled by Fumiaki Maruto.

The opening theme song of "Engage Kiss" is titled "Dare-Kare Scramble" and is performed by halca.

"Engage Kiss" Episode 1 is scheduled to premiere Saturday. Fans in the U.S. can watch the debut episode online on Crunchyroll. The episode will stream in Japanese with English subtitles.
