The new “Enter The Gungeon” patch pushed out more than just new content and gameplay. The game also received one last game system overhaul. Here’s what you should know about the “Enter The Gungeon” final DLC.

As seen on the official “Enter The Gungeon” reddit, the game apparently got more convenient as bosses have had their DPS caps increased. This new update allows players to defeat bosses faster, especially if they’re constantly hitting the boss with bullets and damage.

Moreover, red chests have also been improved, almost always assuring they drop one equippable item and Gungeon pickup, which makes them worth using a key for. At times, players can even get another key after opening a red chest which technically makes it free.

Aside from the more comfortable gameplay, the new patch also introduces a whole new set of content to the game. New guns are available such as the Glass Cannon and Evolver. The Glass Cannon is a longneck bottle of a gun that shoots out a thin, damaging blast but immediately loses all ammo if the player is hit while holding it. Meanwhile, the Evolver is a new gun that can evolve with each kill it makes, starting off as an arm-cradled amoeba until it turns into a dragon.

As for the new passive items, “Enter The Gungeon” also has some new ones. The Scouter item allows players to see enemy health bars and damage values on each hit they make. Additionally, the Cat Bullet King Throne gives the player flight and shoots bullets on each dodge roll similar to the Bullet King boss himself.

Lastly, a new Rainbow mode is introduced in this new update which requires players to rescue Bowler and turn this mode on. For each floor, the player would be given a Rainbow Chest which yields seven items upon opening, but players can only pick one. During this mode, players won’t be able to get items from non-Rainbow chests and Bowler will interfere if you try to open one.

This new update is the last one for “Enter The Gungeon” as the developers move on to develop a different game.
