Epic Games Store Offers Free Games For Holiday Season

Epic Games is running its own set of festivities on its own online storefront for video games. Free games are handed out throughout the holidays and up until the turn of the year. The offers only last for a day which requires interested players to be quick.

As seen on the official Epic Games Store site, a game from available in the Epic Games Store will be given out for free. Epic Games doesn’t have a list of which games will be free for the taking. Epic Games Store users will just have to wait what games will be given out as a surprise.

The free game giveaways will last for 12 days and will last until January 1, 2020. Checking the official page of the giveaway also features a timer up until when the free game will still be available for the taking.

Once in the page, fans just need to log in their Epic Games Store account to add the free game to their library. As a new user, making site accounts using Facebook, Google, PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, and Nintendo accounts is also an available choice.

As of now, the store offers indie first person shooter title “Superhot.” The game is known for unique approach to shooters as players can technically stop time and plan ahead if they stop moving. This feature allows players to take on crowds of foes at the same time.

Aside from the free games, Epic Games is also giving out discount coupons which slash $10 off price of select games. More discount coupons can be obtained for select games that cost $15 or more. Lastly, some games are also discounted in the store and includes many of the exclusives that the Epic Game Store can offer.
