- The reality star said she has been shopping at T.J. Maxx and Target for years
- The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star urged the netizens to stop overanalyzing her life
Erika Jayne fired back at a critic who seemingly shaded her for shopping at T.J. Maxx.
Jayne is facing legal charges after she was dragged into her husband Tom Girardi's bankruptcy case. In August, she was sued for $25 million by the trustee handling the case.
Just recently, she was spotted shopping at a T.J. Maxx store. One Twitter user seemingly criticized her by commenting on her photo from the department store in a tweet where she wrote, "I win again."
"Shopping at TJMAXX…. with your assistant?…. Optics EJ….you are smarter than this…. This NOT winning!" the netizen commented.
The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" clapped back at the troll. She made it clear that her sighting at the department store had nothing to do with her financial situation.
"I shopped there for years. I also went to PetCo and Target," she replied to the user. "Stop overanalyzing my life."
Several netizens sided with Erika. For them, there is nothing wrong with shopping at T.J. Maxx or Target. Some also took pride in frequenting those stores.
"Target & TJMAXX is the s--t! Leave her alone/no matter how much money someone has there’s nothing wrong with shopping at those places," one commented.
"You were shopping at TJ Maxx for sweats, doesn't everyone?! I don't understand what is so weird about that," another added.
"To be clear if you’re NOT shopping @tjmaxx you’re not doing it right. FFS @JohnReason16 get a hobby and if you’re old enough to drive get yourself over to TJ Max it’s magic," a third user wrote.
Meanwhile, some continued to criticize Erika and urged her to return the money she allegedly owed to the families and victims of a 2018 plane crash, instead of shopping. Others slammed her for urging them to stop analyzing her life saying that's what she gets for being a public figure.
"Stop acting as if you're too good for regular people. Everything you have cost other people their health and their lives. You spent their money. Give it back," one wrote.
"Maybe you should listen to some of the people who are analyzing your life because you definitely lost sense of reality and common sense," another added.
"Honey you’re on a reality show and social media. If you don’t want to be analyzed stop being in the public eye and flaunting your lifestyle!" a third netizen stated.
