Erika Jayne got candid about her strained relationship with Garcelle Beauvais.
The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" co-stars are at odds. In Season 12's premiere episode, Beauvais, 55, promised not to ask Jayne, 50, any questions about her ongoing legal battle. The "Love Me as I Am" author also accused Jayne of being in denial of her legal situation, which confused her.
"I came to this positive place through sheer will and not giving up and not quitting and not being beat. I refuse to be beat[en]," Jayne told Page Six. "So when she says ‘denial,’ I’m not quite sure what she means. I’m not quite sure that she knows what she means."
The "XXPEN$IVE" singer also said that Beauvais broke her promise about not asking questions related to her legal battle.
"It was a relief [to hear her say that]," Jayne told Page Six. "But no, she didn’t [keep her promise]. And of course, that’s really what you see also in the teaser [for the rest of the season]."
Jayne teased viewers that they will see heated exchanges between her and Beauvais, Sutton Stracke and Crystal Kung Minkoff. According to the "Pretty Mess" author, "It goes on and [on] and on."
In the premiere episode filmed last fall, Jayne told Beauvais that she was hoping to win her legal battle. However, the former "The Real" co-host was skeptical when she spoke in a subsequent confessional.
"It’s disappointing if I didn’t think that it would happen," Jayne responded to Beauvais' shade. "Sometimes reactions are expected out of certain people and you’ve been around someone long enough to know exactly where they’re going."
Jayne was dismissed from the embezzlement case and fraud lawsuit against her and her estranged husband Tom Girardi in January. Both parties agreed that her "dismissal is appropriate," based on the legal documents obtained by Page Six.
However, she is facing another lawsuit after Edelson PC filed another case in April — it is still part of the Lion Air Flight JT 610 Crash case that has been going on since 2018. Edelson PC sued her along with her company, EJ Global, and the Girardi & Keese law firm and its lenders for alleged crimes, including racketeering, receipt of stolen property, aiding and abetting concealment of stolen property, unlawful business practice and consumers' legal remedies act and deceit, as stated in court documents obtained by E! News.
"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" airs Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
