Breakout soul and jazz singer Esperanza Spalding led The Southern California Children's Chorus in a billowing rendition of the Louis Armstrong classic It's A Wonderful World Sunday night. The performance was during theIn Memoriam portion of the ceremony. She appeared on stage with a radiance billowing from her and the pristine Grecian frock she wore. Spalding rose to prominence with a velveteen voice in 2011, when the young singer broke through with a 2011 Grammy win for Best New Artist. Look for her new album, Radio Music Society, soon.
