Chloe Cherry got candid about her eating disorder.
Cherry previously battled an eating disorder. She blamed the health condition on her stint in the porn industry. The "Euphoria" actress, 24, admitted that she never found herself fat, not until a porn agent told her so.
"It all started when this agent that I had when I was porn said to my face that I was fat," she told host Alex Cooper on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast. "He said, 'Everyone says that you're fat and the fastest way to lose weight is by not eating.' He said that to me and I was like, 'What the f—.'"
After hearing the comment, Cherry said it changed her life. She decided to adopt a vegan diet and limit her calories to 200 a day, leaving her "miserable."
"It just turned into an eating disorder cause I was so young at the time. He said that to me when I was 18, and it was so f—ing freaky because no one in my whole life had ever said that I was fat and then it just became an obsession," she continued.
She recalled sharing her diet with her friends, and they made her realize she wasn't eating enough.
"To get out of it really took a lot of me opening up to all my friends," she shared. "Opening up about it suddenly made it all come down."
In June 2020, Cherry decided to ditch the vegan diet and eat whatever she wanted. According to her, she realized that she was "miserable and not treating my body well."
She no longer counts every single calorie she consumes and eats anything she has in mind. Surprisingly, she's happier with her current figure.
"My body actually looks better than it ever has my entire f—ing life," Cherry said. "I do not restrict my diet whatsoever. And that's why I think a lot of people don't think that I went through an eating disorder because I'm skinnier now than I was even though I was starving myself then."
Cherry worked in the porn industry around 2019. She starred in 200 adult films and made 120 million views on PornHub. One video she did was a seductive parody of "Euphoria's" Rue and Jules' relationship, The Face reported.
She joined "Euphoria" in its second season as Faye, a recurring character. Show creator Sam Levinson stumbled upon her on Instagram.
