Every ‘Friends’ Episode To Stream On Netflix, Time Warner Says

Time Warner announced at an investor event on Wednesday that every episode of "Friends" is coming to Netflix. Netflix’s announcement was a bit jauntier: “They will all be there for you,” it tweeted.

The sitcom about friends who live together in Manhattan debuted in 1994 and aired its last show in 2004, after 10 seasons and 236 episodes. It was named one of the best sitcoms of all time by Time Magazine.

According to a Los Angeles Times report, analysts and investors were hoping to hear that Time Warner had a strategy for boosting its value. The Los Angeles Times quoted Barclays media analyst Kannan Venkateshwar as writing in a research report that, "In spite of having among the best media assets across the industry in HBO and Warner Brothers, Time Warner trades at a discount.”
