An ex-model known posing for high-fashion labels has claimed that he has been maintaining his six-pack body and youthful look by drinking his own urine for the past 17 years.

Troy Casey, a former model for brands like Versace, revealed the secret for his chiseled body. "I drink my own urine every morning — I call it hair of the dog!", the 55-year-old Arizona resident said.

"Urine therapy is an ancient practice - it just doesn't get talked about a lot. Your own pee is full of amino acids, stem cells, and antibodies," Casey said in a recent interview, as reported by New York Post.

Casey who is now a life coach and healer said he got introduced to urine therapy, also known as Shivambu in Ayurvedic medicine back in 2004. However, he drank his pee the first time during a long car journey from San Francisco to Los Angeles when he could not stop for a toilet trip, Lad Bible reported.

"The feeling is electric," Casey described his experience. "Drinking my own urine, it wasn't as bad as the mental barrier in my own mind," Casey added.

Since 2008, he has been reportedly drinking urine on daily basis and has even completed a “seven-day urine fast,” during which he consumed nothing but his pee for an entire week.

In addition to the daily drinking of his waste liquids, he claims to have found out other uses of urine, like using it as a skin moisturizer. Casey says he ferments his bottled urine and uses it as a natural enema to help him flush out his gut.

“I would cultivate my own urine and ferment it in a sealed mason jar for two weeks before transferring it into my rectum,” he explains. “Aged urine enemas are so powerful for your health and I got my six-pack abs after doing them. It flushed out my gut and that’s when I got really ripped,” he adds.

Casey proudly advocates urine therapy to others and says the secret to a man's health lies within themselves. He says people should be more worried about taking pharmaceutical drugs than trying their own urine. "Why should they be scared to try their own urine?” he asks.
