Ex-Porn Star Lana Rhoades, Mike Majlak Get Offers To Film Adult Content, YouTuber Reveals

Ex-porn star Lana Rhoades’ boyfriend, YouTuber Mike Majlak, has revealed that they got offers to film adult content together.

Speaking to Julia Rose and Becca Vlaszof in their podcast “The Sh*tshow,” Majlak, 35, opened up about his relationship with Rhoades, 24, and how they received offers to shoot porn together. However, he cited his girlfriend’s rough experience in the adult film industry as the reason why he has no plans to accept these offers anytime soon.

“We’ve had actual offers. Watching what it did to her and the struggle that she continues to go through as a result of her actions has been a deterrent to me,” Majlak said of Rhoades, who joined the sex industry in early 2016 but stopped shooting professional porn in late 2017.

The “Fifth Vital” author clarified that he is aware of how much money he could earn from shooting adult films but said he could get it from other sources as well.

“There’s a lot of girls out there who make decisions based on finance or based on, in her case, being pushed to do certain things,” Majlak said, adding that the adult film industry is “an awful place.”

This is not the first time that Majlak has spoken about how his girlfriend's work in the adult film industry affected Rhoades. In the breakup video he posted in October, the “Impaulsive” co-host shared that he once asked her if she had enjoyed it as she was preparing to return to the porn industry.

“And she was very frank and earnest about the fact that she didn't want to. That it made her completely sad and she regretted all of the work that she had done. And it was a part of her life that she wished never happened," Majlak said.

He shared that he discouraged Rhoades, whose real name is Amara Maple, from going back to shooting porn earlier this year.

“And I was able to kind of instill in her the idea that, 'You don't need to go back to that,' like 'You don't have to do that, to do anything that you don't want to do,'" he continued.

Majlak and Rhoades broke up in October, but the split only lasted for a week. He admitted that he “acted prematurely” and apologized to his girlfriend and their fans for the hasty decision.

Since retiring from shooting professional porn, Rhoades has focused on growing her social media platforms, worked on her e-commerce site and launched an online store for merch at LanaBananaShop.com.

Aside from these, she runs an OnlyFans account, where she claims to have earned millions from her content. Rhoades also boasts 13.2 million followers on Instagram, where she promotes brands like Fashion Nova.
